Started in 1933 by Eudora Brown Almond of Winder, Georgia, National Doctors’ Day was created to show appreciation to physicians. In 1991, President George HW Bush signed a resolution establishing National Doctors’ Day to be celebrated on March 30 to mark the anniversary of the first use of general anesthesia in surgery.
You can make a gift in the name of a physician who is special to you in honor of National Doctors’ Day, March 30! TMAF will send a special Doctors’ Day card to the physician you wish to honor.
