2016 Star Campaign

Your support of the 2016 Star Campaign will ensure more Texans will be reached by TMA's award winning public health, science, and quality programs. TMAF has received a $10,000 challenge grant from the John P. McGovern Foundation, Houston! This is the tenth year the John P. McGovern Foundation has challenged TMAF with a grant for its Star Campaign for all matching donations up to $10,000.

Winning this challenge grant enables TMAF to fully support TMA’s ambitious goals to provide a bike helmet to young Texans in communities that have not yet benefited from its Hard Hats for Little Heads program, award grants to Texas medical students who are providing immunizations, screenings and education to under and uninsured Texans and MUCH MORE.

The Star Campaign originated 17 years ago to invite individuals who were unable to attend TMAF’s annual gala to still support the event--and in the last several years it has evolved into an effort even greater than that!
