TMA Foundation, a 501 (c)(3) organization, is the philanthropic arm of TMA. It is the only philanthropy in Texas dedicated to the charitable concerns of all physicians. TMAF’s mission is to "fund initiatives with the power to help physicians create a healthier future for all Texans." TMA projects funded by TMAF are selected on their ability to target urgent health needs affecting a large segment of the state's residents with results that can be measured. Projects often involve public-private collaborations, which maximize the effectiveness of programs and enable efforts to be tailored to meet local needs.

2018 promises to be the best year yet as TMA Foundation celebrates 25 years of improving the health of all Texans.
